		<description>Great evening, good music. Although some of the stage logistics could have, ahem, a bit more streamlined. Also regular bursts of TV director and sound technician talkback in the upper stalls were intrusive for those in that area.

The opening act, Move, and the penultimate pipe band were both superb exciting  fusions of modern and traditional, though the modern was disappointingly allowed to drown out the massed pipes in the latter.

Surprised there was no toast to this year&#039;s departed as such, and especially that there was no mention of the late Ishbel MacAskill.</description>
