The Robert Nairn Highland Band are the superb young west coast band with the lovely lilting sound, who made their debut broadcast on Take the Floor this year to great acclaim across the country. Robert Nairn hails from the small village of Kentra in the penninsula of Ardnamurchan on the west coast of Scotland. He has been playing the button accordion since about the age of 10 and the fiddle and pipes before that! The band personnel are Robert Nairn Accordion, Ewan Henderson Fiddle, Ross Wilson Piano, Allan Nairn Drums. Their debut CD, due out this year should be a winner!
