Guitarist, fiddler, composer and arranger Innes Watson is one of the most ‘in-demand’ artists on the Scottish Music scene today. A musician of huge technical ability, Innes, from the Scottish Borders, currently works with Treacherous Orchestra, Rule of Three, Glasgow Guitar Colloquium, Hamish Napier Quintet and Mans Ruin.

His intuitive playing has seen him increasing in demand as one of the most frequently utilized accompanists in Scotland. In this capacity, he has recently worked with the 2011 BBC Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year finalists, the TMSA Young Trad Tour, Daniel Thorpe, Maeve MacKinnon, Alyth MacCormack, Michelle Burke, Darren McLean, Angus Lyon and Gillian Frame & Fiona MacCaskill. Innes has also been utilized to great effect as a deputy musician for Brolum, Babelfish, Rura and Kristan Harvey & The Sanna to name a few.

He is currently working on a brand new Scottish Fiddle band that will include Mike Vass, Ruaridh MacMillan, Daniel Thorpe and Jack Smedley with Chris Waite (guitar) and James Lindsay (bass).
