Workshop for mixed melody instruments

If you would like to start playing in sessions, or give your session playing a boost, this series of workshops aims to give you some well-known tunes at your fingertips so that you have the confidence to just get out there and join in, and share wonderful musical moments with fellow players. I play the fiddle and will teach popular session tunes by ear. I will focus mainly on familiarising you with the tunes rather than on technique, but we will aim to make them sound good and be enjoyable to play. Suitable for players who are happy to learn by ear on standard folk melody instruments such as fiddle, whistle, mandolin and accordion. Please note that if you play small pipes, you would need to bring along another, more flexible instrument as well.
